Story

I take ideas from zero to one.

At work I’m Jay. Friends call me JD. I’m based in Melbourne, and I’m a Monash postgraduate in IT.

For years I solved business problems with Salesforce: the unglamorous, load-bearing work of making big systems fit real people. That taught me one thing above all: technology only succeeds when people actually want to use it.

Now I’m putting that into a bigger idea: making AI kind to every generation. Agentic AI that makes everyday life simpler, for every generation.

I practise what I build. I run my own work with a team of AI agents, and they follow one rule: agents draft, humans decide. Nothing important happens without a person saying yes.

Principles

What I believe

  1. 01

    Kind is a design choice.

    AI can be fast, clever and still be unkind: confusing, impatient, built for someone else. Kindness doesn’t happen by accident. You design for it from the first line.

  2. 02

    Agents draft. Humans decide.

    AI should take on the work, not the judgment. Anything that matters (a message, a payment, a decision) waits for a person to say yes.

  3. 03

    Respect every user. Patronise no one.

    People don’t need technology made simpler for them. They need technology made better for them. That means clear, honest, patient, and never condescending.

  4. 04

    Built for life, not for demos.

    The test of good AI isn’t a clever demo. It’s whether it makes an ordinary Tuesday easier for a real person.

  5. 05

    Ship first, talk second.

    I’d rather show you something that works than promise you something that might. I share products once they’re live.
